ISC Solutions anchored an outstanding presentation Wednesday, June 8th, 2011, at the Henry Ford Health Systems, Tom Groth Needs Fund “Men Who Cook” fundraiser.
As in previous years we partnered with Devon Promotions and grilled ribs and rib tiblets served with either mild sweet and/or spicy sauces, along with a chunked pineapple cole slaw. Devon provided the culinary expertise and ISC’s Team staged a spectacular booth presentation and served the public with the grandeur we have been known for.
Jerome Mallett, Sr. and his brother Andre Mallett (Devon) along with Richard Counts (ISC) were steadfast throughout the day and the entire event from set-up to the final tear down. High regards to Andre, who did all the grilling from start to finish, ribs and rib tiblets…..a MVP performance. Marie Zak and Aleisha Bing assisted by Debbie Sears (ISC) came over early, around noon, set up the booth decorations, then Marie and Aleisha came back and put the refined finishing touches for the booth judging presentation.
Brad Rhoades (ISC) and Counts anchored the booth from 4 to 5 pm, and without his pirate costume, he still dazzled the judges through their booth evaluation; while Mallett, Sr. (Devon) provided the recipe and craft details regarding our booths’ food preparation and ambiance. Charles Motley, available during the judging, provided the leadership leverage we required for this type of philanthropic event, networking with Henry Ford Health Systems senior managers, and other suppliers that had booths as well, while also closing the event. Rhoades further leveraged our Office Depot goodwill having a team of Depot executives at this most prestigious event for ISC.
Regina Browning, Cindy Coemmon and Erica Mallett (Devon) gave the serving presentations of our booth all the additional spice we needed from 5 to 8pm, they served, carved, you name it. Jody was on his best “A” game, assisting with the set-up, also providing volunteer drivers who helped cut hundreds of carvings, and Jody returned later to serve along with Kevin from 5 to 6 pm. Barry Bezeau and Dan Novak went beyond the call of duty, expected to serve from 6 to 7pm, filled the void, unsolicited and served through the close of the event at 8pm. Even Tarzza Williams made a cameo appearance.
All and all, it was a fun-filled day, we partnered with our MBE supplier, helped raise money for a most worthy cause, and further engaged and endorsed our commitment to the Henry Ford Health System family.
